The Kate Lycett exhibition opened in the Harrison Lord Gallery, Brighouse on Sunday 9th May to a packed gallery. As soon as the doors opened it was standing room only. Kate’s uplifting and colourful paintings of the Calder Valley (and France!) gave everybody much needed relief from all the recent political debates.
A number of Kate’s new originals were snapped within minutes of the opening by appreciative collectors. Sales continued throughout the day at very high levels.
Kate was kept busy chatting with her fans and signing dedications for people who bought work.
There was a real buzz of excitement throughout the day as people viewed this exciting exhibition. The exhibition continues until Saturday 29th May.
